The Mundoolun Estate Community Centre
The estate is soon to have its own community centre and will be located at the front of the estate in the Lagoon Parklands.
The road works and the car park have now been completed and the centre is due to start very soon, with completion hoped for late 2011.
It is proposed to consist of a meeting hall, changing rooms with toilets, a kitchen and storage areas.
The design is likely to have a verandah with deck overlooking the children’s play area, parkland and lagoons.
It is hoped that the centre will be managed and run by local residents and a representative of the developers.
Until then, any enquiries for its use can be made at the Sales & Information Centre.
